Water element.

 IMPORTANCE OF WATER AND BATHING. 

The proportion of water in the human body is 90 percent. From this it appears that water element is more important than other elements. Due to its reduction, the body starts drying up, the nerves start getting clogged, the bones come out. The blood becomes thick and there are many disturbances of burning, thirst, dryness etc.


Water irrigates the body. People drink several cups of water every day, so that there is stability of the water element in the body. The body is nourished by useful chemical substances present in fresh water. The deformities that arise in the internal organs continue to come out in liquid form along with sweat, urine and other faeces. For example, due to rain, the plants become cheerful and alive and in the absence of water, they wither and dry up. Same is the case with the body. If the body gets water in sufficient quantity with proper method, then the firmness and health of the body is maintained properly.

 Taking bath only, it gives a unique help in maintaining health. Bath should not be done to avoid forced labor, but to remove the impurities of the body and to nourish the body. Fresh water from well, river, canal, spring, spring or tap is best. The water of those large ponds is also fine, which is not polluted by humans or animals or does not contain any harmful substances. The elements which are present in the flowing fresh water do not remain in the water kept in stagnant, pots. Generally everyone should take a bath with cold fresh water of true temperature, except for the special needs of the sick. Such water is fine for every season. Many people take bath with hot water during winter, it is not good. If needed, some heat can be brought in it by keeping it in the sun. Pouring hot water on the head causes great harm to the eyes. It is not good to take a bath in very strong wind, for this one should keep such a place where there is no strong wind , because the speed of wind on a cold body has a bad effect in every season.


While taking a bath, the skin should be gently rubbed with a coarse, rough towel, due to which the skin becomes red. In this way, the heat inside the body gets stimulation due to friction. Just as iron by heating it in water, by increasing the heat by friction and bathing in cold water, the body becomes strong. Secondly, the fine pores in the skin are cleaned and sweat comes out properly. By exfoliating the accumulated scum on the skin, the smell, stickiness, laziness and sadness goes away. Back spine Bone, armpits, neck,  butt etc. are such places, whose cleanliness is not given proper attention at the time of bath, it is not right that full attention should be paid to the cleanliness of each and every part. One should not act in haste in the bath. One should take bath slowly and happily while cleaning every part properly and at least 20-25 minutes should be spent in this work. After bath, the body should be dried with a cloth. One should take bath once in winter and twice in the morning and evening in other seasons.


By keeping regular and proper arrangement of bathing, there is a great protection from the attack of diseases, minor diseases keep getting better on their own without knowing it. Taking a bath sitting under the fountain gives more play, entertainment and coolness. Taking a bath in the rain after a couple of months is also very pleasurable. One should take a bath in Meh in such a place that there is no dirty splatter of house, thatch etc. For this, the top six of the field or house is fine.


Bathing is necessary even for the sick. Except smallpox, wounds and black diseases, the body of all other diseases should be rubbed with a cloth towel, so that even in that case the benefit of bathing remains intact and dirt does not accumulate on the body.

Natural Resistance power of our body.

 We entrust our health to fate. We believe that the health would automatically remain normal and in case there is any trouble we can always take drugs to cure any ailments. Most of us are apathetic to the matter of health. Generally, we are indifferent and inactive about maintaining good health. We hardly ever give any serious attention to our health preservation needs. In modern times, ignorance about health perhaps exceeds our ignorance on any other subject. 

In reality, ailment or sickness are not absolutely inevitable. If our natural resistance power is strong enough, no disease would dare to attack us. If we do not disrupt the process of natural resistance, it would see us through hale and hearty till the end of our life. No germs of disease can affect a healthy man with powerful natural resistance power. 

The secret of natural resistance power is very simple. With the progress in civilization, man increasingly kept on violating the laws of Nature and the rate of incidence of disease also rose commensurate with our moving away from nature. In ancient times, physician were aware of healing power of nature. They knew it well that it is the Nature ,and not physician, that really cures patients. The natural resistance power of body can cure most of our illnesses and no medical intervention is required for them.

Human is born with a strong resistance power. If this resistance power is preserved carefully, it can keep a person healthy till the end of his life. Scientists have proved the existence of this resistance power through several experiments. 

The factors that WEAKEN our resistance power are:-

-Mental tension- It has been proved that the Excessive mental tension causes Depletion of vitamins from our body.

-Pollution- It plays a vital role in our weakening the natural resistance power.

-Indiscriminate use of medicines- Drugs depress the bone marrow. And the natural resistance power depends on WBC which is produced in bone marrow.

-Irregular life style: There is no proper fix time for getting up ,sleeping ,taking meals. These life style also the factor for decreasing our natural resistance power of the body. 

-Addictions- It also destroys our essential vitamins from our body and leads to low resistance power of our body. 

-Lack of exercise.


Way to strengthen our natural resistance power of the body 

-Proper dietary and living habits: Diet occupies an important place during sickness as well as during healthy conditions. Diet and health are closely associated with each other. Our diet should be balanced. 

The constitution of our body is alkaline. So it is desirable that our diet should be largely alkaline.

-Physical activity:For maintaining good health physical activity also occupies importance equal to that given to the diet. Physical activity activates the heat generating system in our body and the food consumed by us is burnt away fully only when adequate heat for the same is generated. Such proper metabolic process is vital for our health. 

During the course of exercise, blood circulation, in those parts and organ of the body which are involved in it,increases by about thirty times than it normally is and this development makes more amount of oxygen and red blood cells available to those parts and organ. 

Breathing becomes faster and deeper and consequently more oxygen is available to the body.

During the exercise there is rise in number of red blood cells and white blood cells in the blood, exercise raises the body temperature of our body and helps to burn the food faster.

Exercise causes profuse perspiration. Toxic element are eliminated from the body through perspiration and health of the skin is improved thereby.

Exercise also effects on our digestive system after a session of exercise, secretion of gastric juices increases in the stomach and there is a positive improvement in the rate and the capacity of natural contraction and expansion process of the stomach and the intestines, as the result of this ,the food is digested well and the residual waste is exerted easily from the body.

Regular exercise develops and strengthen muscles and improves their efficiency. As the result, they are able to lend a better and firm support to the joints.
