TECHNIQUE FOR GROWING WHEAT GRASS:-
-Selecting pot or tray: For growing wheat -grass very big and deep pot is not required. Take seven pots measuring about one square feet and having depth about 2-3 inches. Take only seven trays because after showing, wheat grass grows to the desired height after 7 days.
-Soil and manure: Very sticky earth is not desirable for growing wheat grass. Any other type of earth can be used for growing wheat grass. But do not use earth in which some chemicals fertilizers has been mixed. Natural readymade manure or natural manure of cow dung can be used. But chemical fertilizers should never be used.
- Quality of wheat: Better quality of wheat and big grains should be preferred. About 100g of wheat should be sown at a time. Before sowing the wheat ,they should be sprouted. For sprouting them, first soak them in water for about 12 hours. Then wrap them in a wet thick cloth and tie them tightly for about another 12 hours. As the result they are sprouted well.
- Technique for growing wheat grass: Spread the sprouted wheat on the soil bed. Spread them in such way that the grain are close to one another and remain almost in touch with one another. Now cover the grain with a thin layer of earth. Then sprinkle some water on it. Water has to be sprinkled not to be poured. Overdosage of water spoils them together. If water sprinkled on the wheat grass is not just ordinary water, but water treated with magnets, it produces better results.
Technique to treat water with magnets: Take a bottle of water and a pair of powerful magnets (about 2000 gauses) .
Place the magnets on the both side of bottles in such way that North pole remains on one side and South pole remains on the other side. Leave it in that position for about 12 to 15 hours.
When the grass grows a bit high, give water only once in 24 hour, but during summer, sprinkle water 2 or 3 times a day.
Trays or pots do not remain exposed to the sunlight for more than 3 to 4 hours during the day time.
Only one tray has to be sown per day, do not sow all seven trays at a time.
Sow 100g of wheat in a tray on first day. Thereafter, sow 100g wheat in a tray every day for the succeeding six days. On eighth day you will find that about 4-5 inches high wheat grass is ready in the first pot. So, on eighth day, cut the grass with a pair of scissors, as close to the bottom as possible.
